Hey what's up hello! In order to bring a little uniform to this trusty sight of mine, I give you Thirteen Thoughts. I typically have about thirteen thousand thoughts in my head at any given time, but I've limited it down to 13 little trinkets of my mind to share. And so, without any further ado, here are 13 thoughts about life goals.

1. My life plan is one jumbled mess, and that, at times, makes me one jumbled hot mess.

2. Maybe I'll end up as boss-a$$ woman who wears pantsuits and drinks red wine after a long day working as a CEO or prosecutor or a lobbyist.

3. Maybe I'll write freelances and travel the world while falling in love with people and places and living on a dime.

4. Maybe I'll fall in love in college and become a lulu wearing soccer mom who works hard in ways besides money and builds her life with her family.

5. Maybe I will stay in Texas. God bless Texas and it's sunsets and cities and love and laughter.

6. Or maybe I'll live in new places and meet new people.

7. I am often influenced by TV shows and books and movies. My goals change like the wind, or rather, the ambition of the main character. Quantico makes me want to join the FBI. Gilmore Girls makes me want to write. Grey's makes me want to become a neurosurgeon.

8. There are, however, certainties in my life.

9. I will love my family. I will love Jesus. I continue to grow and thrive.

10. Not knowing what you want to or who you want to be is okay. Its normal. Not knowing where life will bring you is spontaneous and fun, but also daunting...but I'm okay with that.

11. Life has a funny way of working itself out for the better.

12. My goals in life are not as straightforward as I once thought they should be. I can say, wholeheartedly, that my life is uncertain. But the uncertainty might just be the most rewarding. I want to build a life and career where each day matters to me.

13. Change is a consistent thing in life. Do not allow it to bother you. Embrace change and move on with life, whichever direction it chooses to take you.

Hello friends! I am so happy you've found my little corner of the internet! 2017 started merely two weeks ago, and it has already brought triumphs and heartaches. I am sure you are all too familiar with what comes along with this time of year. People joining gyms they'll soon leave, health food being raided from the grocery store by people who will still reach for the potato chips, and vows to spend time off of electronics followed the next weekend by watching a whole series of Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. January is a time of growth and resolutions, even if they only last a couple weeks. All of my "New Year's resolutions"-the things I decided to start trying this year-revolve around one word. Creativity. When I was little, I used to love to read. I would read for hours on end, getting lost in every story I could find. As I entered high school, however, my desire to read still remained strong, but my free time started dwindling down. Now, this year, I want to read more books because I want to, not for an assignment. Another resolution is fine tune what I want to do in my life. I want to explore career options, majors, and colleges. I want to make decisions about my life feeling confident and excited. My last and arguably important resolution is one that captures the very essence of the word creativity. I want to create. This little blog of mine, while posts may be far and few between as I get busier, is going to be my way to share a side of myself with others. I am 100% unqualified to start a blog, but I am also 100% passionate. Please allow my growing, messy, grace-embodied website to be a place of comfort and sense of inspiration. I'm not quite sure what all I might talk about, but I know I'm excited to share my favorite aspects of my life with you! I by no means am completely "on trend", but I love all things fashion. Maybe you can follow along for some outfit of the days. While I am no beauty guru, I enjoy pretending to make YouTube tutorials when I'm doing my makeup. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about beauty. I am no theologian, but I have a heart for the Lord. Maybe you can follow me for your source of grace (haha pun intended). I have not traveled the world, but as summer plans are becoming finalized, I might be able to share with you a sense of adventure. I am definitely not a health mogul. I run (a lot) and eat when I'm hungry, but perhaps when I log on and complain about getting up at 6:00 every morning to workout, you'll want to live a little healthier...or at least feel some sympathy for me. I am no scholar, but I would love to show you how I study and plan and try to manage all my classes. Lastly, I am not an extraordinary writer. Just a girl with a laptop who wants to have an outlet of creativity. Beginnings are scary, but if you stick with me you just might enjoy it here.
